We care about our Community’s health and wellbeing.
The aim of the Community Classes and Courses at Styx (highlighted in green on the Timetable) is to enable access to affordable activities that anyone can take part in and enjoy.
If you are able to contribute, then a donation of £5 per Community Class would be much welcomed.
The current range of available donation based Community activities is as follows:-
o Singing for Health, supported by Bailiwick Social Prescribing
o Arts for Impact, supported by Bailiwick Social Prescribing
o Cyber Styx IT Help Desk, supported by Styx Centre and IT Volunteers
o Yoga, supported by Maureen de Jong and Art of Living
o Qi Gong, supported by Bailiwick Social Prescribing
Other Groups at the Centre also offer low charge activities, including..
o Girls football, Free & supported by the Guernsey Football Association
o Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, supported by the 9th St. Peter’s
o Adult social group sessions, supported by Age Concern
o Homestart Toddler Group, donation if able, supported by the Youth Commission.
